Thanks, and here's that music

The response to the new website has been great, thanks to everyone who visited and left feedback.

We also had quite a few requests asking who made the music on our cover page and where could they get it? It was made by our own Russell Cooley (AKA Terrorbyte). He's a Meteor award winning producer and has previously worked with us on the Discman soundtrack. Anyway here it is in YouTube format for your convenience. Enjoy!

We're grand, like.

We're grand, like.

As you can see, we don't do blog posts very often. A friend recently told me that he thought we had closed since there wasn't much activity on the site or our social feeds. So instead of being our usual so-secret-people-think-we're-dead, we're going to make a concentrated effort to post here more often.

Our last update was over a year ago so let's just say things have changed, and mostly for the better. Lets bring you up to speed.

Designing a logo

Designing a logo

We're a bit of a secretive bunch, but we've been trying a bit lately to let folk in and see our "process". There's no secret really, we just tend to iterate a lot and generally try do the best work we can in the quickest time possible, without sacrificing quality. What we do first may not always be right, but we take cues and some times incorporate them into the next iteration until we're happy. So today I'm going to try show you how we do nearly all our design work through the evolution of the Super Mexican Standoff logo.

LoPoly Weekly Update 31/05/14

We've been quiet as of late and for good reason. We've been busy and things have changed slightly. Focus on the new game we've been working for for 3 months has shifted, but only temporarily. Why? Well we made a game at a game jam that people really liked (award winning, even?) and we feel that with a little more work it would be a pretty cool game to release. So we are. And we can even talk about it. Cause like, about a 100 people have played it already.
